Walking Onslaughts Tale: Humble Beginnings

Link:

Happy Anniversary to our Walking Onslaughts Tale. I can't believe it's only been a year since I started this awesome project. You know it's really crazy how this idea of mine came out of nowhere. No seriously, it legitimately came out of nowhere. It was around may of last year where I keep having this strange vision of this unique cover art. One half was me and the other half was the song I sampled. It's been going on for weeks and I didn't know why I kept having it. This was a time when I was on my Attack On Titan wave cause season 3 is on a hot streak. It was also around the time where I dropped my Walking Onslaughts Interlude, (did numbers by the way) and if ya'll didn't know, I was semi working at chick fil a at the time. FYI it didn't last long lol. Month of June came and my cover art visions has gotten more clearer, it was a (Oooo here we go) Twilight Sparkle cover art with Onslaught on her left. I was wondering why was I seeing this everyday? What's even more crazy is, I started to hear the sound for the cover art. It was strange what was going on with me, even when I was doing my 2 week training with chick fil a, it was whooping my ass a new one. Almost got distracted a few times because of it. SO one day, after my training was done, they gave us a schedule for out starting day, I sat down and browse on YouTube. I was breezing through YouTube and looking at old content from back in the day cause you know, who doesn't miss the good ole days. (Now I sound like a old head, smh...... OK Boomer keep relying on the old days vs making the new days feel like the old days. Even though 2020 ain't shit right now lmao.) Before I go on a rant about how boomers fucked everything up for us (which they did) let me continue the story shall we? 25 minutes of searching up old videos, I decided to look up to some old brony songs cause you know, it was on it's last season and all and I wanted to see the evolution of our growth. Here I was letting nostalgia kick my ass until I was like "you know what, I ain't gonna hold you, one of my favorite songs gotta be the last episode of season 3." I crack my knuckles *CRACK* start typing on the keyboard (*tick tap tap tap space bar tap tap tap* scroll my mouse to the search button for season 3 last episode song *click* and found the video *loading video, ad plays, kip ad in 5 seconds and the video plays* Hollow Offspring can you stop that, I'm trying to tell a story here. Hollowspring "aaaa I was only making it fun" Offspring "well..... it was, but do it some other time, tryna get my groove on baby." H2O "Ok *walks away* Sorry for the interruption hehehe. Now here I was, listening to the song and embracing the sound until my creative vision hit me. *DOOM DOOM, DOOM DOOM, DOOM DOOM) I swear to you not, I never jump out my seat to download a song in a day of my life. Thank god my mom wasn't around to see it or show would of think I was on K2. I jumped so high off my chair I almost stick to the wall and act like spider man. Hit that download button, hit up FL studio and went HAM. Had no sense of conscious of what I was doing and let my creative vision take control. it wasn't until I was done making the beat, I gain my self control. I swear when I first laid my ears on it I was in lala land. I didn't know how I did it, but it sounded so beautiful I didn't know what to do with my self. I was gonna upload it the day after I made it but then I was like you know what, June 29th is when the new mlp movie is dropping so what a better time to drop it till then. Boom, the very next day, I was making a snippet for the beat and had an idea for the video, since the first half is about feeling guilt, who in the group will feel this type of feeling? ONSLAUGHT, PERFECT!!!!! Made the video, made the cover art and had a set day for the song to release. June 29th came, not only did it drop, it also was the same day I quit chick fil a cause fuck working in a restaurant job lmao. Not gonna lie, I made not made a big impact with my first new sound, but it felt good to evolve. I remember when July came, it was bronycon season, and I was on the verge of dropping my first ep of the year. I remember being hype dropping my ep, it was doing some number too surprisingly. Wish the same could be said for my second one lol. The whole month of July, I was thinking about, should I make another one? I was so Hesitant of doing it until I was like you know what, if people liked the first one, they'll most likely like the second one. Now here I am, making a second one wondering "now how the fuck am I gonna top the first one?" I know ya'll artist being having that feeling of "damn, I just made my best song yet but if I go on to make a second one, how am I gonna out do my first one?" Trust me, to this day, I still think like that, I don't know how I'm gonna top my Musical Paradise album. Here I was overthinking like a mad man and was trying to copy the same formula as the first one. Then I snapped out of it and said to my self, you know what, I need to stop thinking about trying to make this one sound like the old beats I made cause of the nostalgia it gave me, probably a reason why I'm stuck on 54 followers now. If I can outdo myself with Guilty/New Beginnings, I can easily outdo myself with this one. It was at that point, I spent 7 hours producing my ass off making the second chapter. When I got to making the second half of that mother fucking beat. I was like ooooooooooooooo daaaaaaaamn, o naw, this waaaaaay better then my first one!!!!!!!!! The same creative vision that whooped my ass the first time did it again with my second one. I don't wanna tell you how much of a fool I was when I listened to the finished product. I dropped that beat on the first day of bronycon on midnight and went to sleep. I woke up to seeing it over 300+ plays in one day. I was like daaaaaaaaaaayum, I didn't know it was gonna hit those kind of numbers. I remember celebrating my accomplishment by walking to chick fil a thinking about making a third part, at that point on, I said "you know what, since they loved the first two heavy, I'm gonna call this story a Walking Onslaughts Tale: Humble Beginnings. It's gonna be a 4 part series about where we came from, how we did this, how we did that and what made us who we are. I'll even go on to make it a yearly thing. I don't know why I had that vision outbreak, but I'm really am humble to have it hit me. Thank you Offspring, for showing me a way to sample my songs. Just for that, I'm gonna keep busting my ass making beats even when I die. For now on, we're gonna produce our beats the most creative way possible. Ladies and gentlemen, watch out, it's gonna be a new face in this town. Name is Offspring Mysterious and his deadly group Walking Onslaughts is taking over the world!" At that point on, It made me the producer who I am today. Thank you all for making this possible, thank you Lovari for believing in my talents and putting a lot of faith in my craft. Thank you level$ for hooking me up with FL studio and letting me mix your vocals, even though you can be a PAIN IN NE ASS to mix for, but our back and fourths is gonna be worth it when we make it up in the world. Another thank you to the homie Roar Raps being my first ever client to purchase a beat from me, even for making a few videos with me, SPECIALLY that energetic wave video we did, BOY did it came out perfectly. It really is crazy how he discovered me on twitter and we be close ever since. Same with me and Lovari, he hit me up on Instagram and we been the best of buds ever since. I also wanna thank chick fil a and Dave&Buster's for teaching me a valuable lesson. Just because you love shopping in your favorite stores doesn't me you gonna love working for them. Trust me, ask my friend Marcus and my WO family, they'll tell you how much of a energy shift I suffered from working there. I want ya'll to also thank my homie Hoodteaminc aka Hoodteamnation for being my day one WOC member when I first started making music. I don't care what anyone say, if you need a reason to keep doing what you love doing or need a reason to push harder with your career, get you a family like Hoodteam, you wanna talk about a hype man and a motivation to keep going? I promise you, once he fucks with what you do, he's your dedicated day one till the day you die, shit even after you die, he still riding for you. Thank you to Sorry X for commenting on my chaos unleashed beat back in April and sticking with me ever since, thanks to her I wouldn't be considered a day one supporter of her lol. Yes, I been a fan of her since her Raptor days don't hate or discriminate, just appreciate her growth of her fanbase and her maturing as an artist. OOOOOO BARS DOE!!!!!!!! Shout out to my homi Anti for being my number one hype man for everytime I make a post on IG or drop a new snippet of my beats. I swear he be more hype then me sometimes lol. Also check his new track out on youtube, it's BANGERS!!!!! Last but not least, can we all give a round of applause to Minx Couture (yes her last name is couture marcus lol. Little inside joke we have) She is the main reason why I even have a website in the first place, if it wasn't for me winning her Manifest Monday giveaway, I'll be a headless chicken looking for a website builder lol. Honestly speaking, this is the best one I every found, all thanks to her. Hope you guys enjoy this blog, have a good day and don't be afraid to mention your favorite Walking Onslaughts Tale beat too, right now Guilty/New Beginnings is the fan favorite.
